Job Description

Field Service Engineer I performs preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on healthcare equipment across the DFW area. The role involves working with experienced engineers to develop service skills, support customer needs, and contribute to account management and sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on designated medical equipment
• Assist senior field engineers with equipment installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction with services
• Maintain service logs, customer records, and manage parts ordering and cycle times
• Independently answer service calls within one year of employment

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• High school diploma with minimum 4 years electronic equipment servicing experience
• Valid driver's license required and maintained
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web applications
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship
• Willingness to work rotating on-call schedule including weekends
