Job Description
A national law firm providing legal services to financial institutions seeks a Part Time Litigation Attorney for their South Carolina team. 20-30 hours/week. Hourly pay of $40.13 - 71.50/hr. This role is REMOTE. There will be occasional appearances for hearings, so candidates must be able to attend occasional hearings in person throughout the state. The South Carolina Foreclosure Attorney is responsible for handling uncontested and contested foreclosure litigation actions. Additionally, this attorney may work with some bankruptcy and evictions related matters. Position requires (a) 5+ years of practice experience in South Carolina, including foreclosure experience; (b) an active license to practice in South Carolina.

Responsibilities
- Representing clients at mediations, hearings, trials, and other duties as assigned
- Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions
- Analyze and review complaints, motions, as assortment of legal documents and final judgments
- Conduct legal research
- Provide legal analysis for, and communicate with, clients regarding case matters
- Deliver outstanding customer service and legal representation to internal and external stakeholders
